As you search for a counselor, the most important thing is to find someone who can help you with the current obstacles you are facing. You deserve someone who is competent, accepting, and compassionate. I am committed to walking alongside you as you deal with life’s difficulties and struggles. I will work with you toward clarity and focus while assisting you in meeting your goals.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Indiana. I received my graduate degree from Indiana University South Bend with honors. I specialize in working with children over the age of 10, teens, and adults. I am familiar with parental alienation and the effects that custody disputes have on families. I have years of experience working with parents regarding parenting skills and mending the parent/child relationship. I have completed the Fundamentals of Parenting Coordination Training by the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
Rooted in the belief that everyone’s life experience is uniquely theirs, I use a variety of approaches in order to find what will work best with each individual, meeting them where they are. I am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I also utilize Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Person-Centered Therapy techniques.
I support the LGBTQ+ community.
